The day began with Physical Therapy. There isn't anything like making going out to the gym. Tommy loves the seated elliptical machine! I think it's one of his favorite things at the gym, oh besides the pool! After working out it's always nice to go and take the plunge for a little while. It's always a lovely 97-99 degrees of salty water. Just what the aching body needs! Thank goodness for the spa. Don't know what we would do without it. The actual party turned out great! We had the famous "Pot Roast" with potatoes & carrots. For dessert we had a beautiful birthday cake with deep purple roses, a home-made pound cake (a recipe from my Granny) with fresh strawberries & cream, cupcakes in 3 flavors (thanks Tammy, they were yummy, chocolate, vanilla & red velvet). We had a small group, Tommy, Pam (me), Am, thomas and our guests, Tammy & Steven. I think everyone enjoyed it. We ate and ate and it felt like we had just finished Thanksgiving Day Dinner. We were stuffed. Tommy got several neat gifts. I think he really did enjoy his birthday. The only thing missing was Jenna. Wish she had been here! Maybe next year! But my birthday wish for Tommy: "May he have many more birthdays, all filled with love and good health and most of all, filled with family and good friends."
